NAP Ministries: Native American Partnership Ministries was formed as a non-profit ministry organization in 2007. For over 500 years first European and now American denominations have been trying to convert Native American and First Nations peoples through assimilation or domination. Therefore today there are many Native Christian leaders and churches across North America. The need has shifted from initial church plants to partnerships. Native and non-Native churches can therefore grow together, share burdens, and benefit spiritually and physically through fellowship. NAP is a "virtual ministry" with as little overhead as possible. We own no property and for the most part ministry business and communication is done via the Internet. This allows for nearly all of the donations to NAP to go directly toward Native partnerships. NAP Ministries, an evangelical, denominationally unaffiliated “faith” ministry, is governed by a board of directors. Its policies and directives are carried out through administrators. All funds come from the financial support of churches and individuals moved by the Holy Spirit to be part of this outreach. All of the missionary staff, the operating fund and projects are totally dependent upon the financial support of churches and individuals. |
